About MMMUT

Established in 2013 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur is named after the great educationist and freedom fighter, Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya.

The University is committed to providing quality technical education, promoting research and innovation, and nurturing entrepreneurs and leaders who can contribute to the nation's growth. Situated on a sprawling 75-acre campus on Deoria Road, Gorakhpur, the university provides a serene and conducive environment for learning.

MMMUT is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. programs across various disciplines of engineering, technology, and management.

MMMUT encourages a vibrant research culture with state-of-the-art laboratories, research centers, and funding opportunities from national agencies like DST, AICTE, and UGC. The university focuses on applied research addressing regional and national challenges in areas such as renewable energy, water resources, smart agriculture, cybersecurity, and advanced materials.

Our faculty and students regularly publish in reputed international journals and present at conferences. The university has filed numerous patents and promotes innovation through its Technology Business Incubator (TBI), which supports student and faculty startups.

Admissions 2024

Admission Process

Admissions to B.Tech programs are primarily through UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. For M.Tech, admissions are based on GATE scores or university entrance test. MBA admissions require CAT/MAT/CMAT scores, and MCA admissions are based on university entrance test.

International students and NRI candidates can apply through the university's direct admission portal. Eligibility criteria, important dates, and application forms are available on the official website.
